Pop-up plant sale

Saturday 13th June from 2-4pm

at 2 Worksop Road, Whitwell S80 4RF.



Tomatoes 50p each or 5 for £2

Varieties:

Shirley - salad Tomato

Tumbling Tom - sweet cherry like toms

Romantic- plum

Beefsteak- very large, flavoured toms


Chillies/peppers - 50p each or 5 for £2

Giant - grow up to 6' - good for bees

Pom pom -grow up to 3'-multi headed

Vigorous climber, bright blue flowers

Annual- likes sunny, sheltered position

Orange flowers long flowering, self-seed.


All proceeds will go toward the Say No to the Wolf funds.



Drop in session

Saturday 20th June from 10am-12pm 


We will have a table (to give out flyers, information, help and support with objections) at  the Coffee morning being held at the Methodist Church, North Road, Clowne S43 4PF – just up from No 4 Coffee Shop.

Saturday 27th June from 10am-12pm 


We will have a table (to give out flyers, information, help and support with objections) at  the Coffee morning at Hodthorpe Social Club, Queens Road, Hodthorpe S80 4UP. 




Whitwell Gala Drop in session

Saturday 4th July from 1-5pm 


We will have a stand at Whitwell Gala, Recreation Ground, Welbeck Street, Whitwell  S80 4TY. We have a bottle raffle, tombola and cakes for sale. 

In order for these events to take place we will need your help with donations of:


• Bottles (not just alcohol) eg. Soft drinks, squash, Washing up liquid, tomato  sauce, bubble bath etc. 

• Cakes – please let me know what you will be baking and let me have a list of  ingredients 

• Posh snacks and foods for hampers 

• Baskets for the hampers 

• Raffle prizes 


Nearer the time cakes and raffle prizes can be dropped off or collected.  (See our newsletter for details.

We do need volunteers as well, please let us know if you can assist. Your help does not have to be for the whole time, an hour or so  would be a great just to spread the load. Thank you.
