The fields of Whitwell Common are under threat from Great Wolf, an American company, who are seeking to build a 7-storey American hotel and conference centre development in their place.
This action group is made up of volunteers who are fighting to protect our community's local heritage from destruction and to stop nearly 2000 extra cars a day from using our already overstretched local roads.

This isn't just about a building; it's the irreversible destruction of a vital local ecosystem and the addition of an extra 1829 cars a day on our local roads.
